Kenyatta University Hosts Consultative Meeting on Public Health Education and Career Development

Today APHOK Nairobi and the Directorate of Public Health Nairobi under the Invitation of Kenyatta University Students Association ( KUSA) and Congress Person Head met at the University Main Complex with School of Public Health Students for a consultative meeting with an objective of discussing the Integrated academic, Regulatory and Professional dimensions that align to educational outcomes with Public Health Practice.

Key Topics discussed included:

* Substance Use and Tobacco Control; Analysis of the impact of Drug Substance Use and Tobacco Control policies within institutional.

* Career Progression and Professional Development on Public Health and Emerging Trends in the market

* Internship and Attachment Placements processes and field supervision.

* Remuneration Framework for Interns/Volunteers during field experience phases

* Post Graduation Employment Opportunities for Public Health Officers
